FIMS Firearms SHOT 2023 Louis 24k Gold Plated & Brown Cerakote Rifle

This is a true one-of-a-kind masterpiece that was custom created using a FIMS Firearms AR-15 and put on display at SHOT Show 2023 in Las Vegas. When we saw it, we decided we had to have it. Now it's available here at Deluxe Arms to add to your collection.

What's this custom AR all about? Well, it's the first of its kind firearm that has taken 24 carat gold plating and combined it with a Louis Vuitton-like Plum Brown Cerakote layer. This is not gold Cerakote, it's an actual 24k gold plating. How was this done? According to the custom shop that did the work, it took over 40 hours of painstaking work to do the stenciling and surface preparation so that the Cerakote layer would stick.

This FIMS Louie AR does have its provenance intact, which came as a surprise to us. On the trigger guard, you'll notice the yellow tag attached. This is an actual SHOT Show 2023 firearms tag which is applied to each and every firearm on display at the show indicating it has been inspected and verified to be disabled at the show (usually by removing the firing pin or buffer spring). This AR was returned to its fully functioning state so it can be used, if so desired.

Being the first firearm to blend plating and Cerakoting, it's not without its flaws. There are certain small spots on the firearm which do show some imperfection in the coating, one near the forward assist and another near the trigger pins. This is to be expected for a proof of concept and should not detract from the overall presentation. In addition, this was handled by an unknown number of people at the show, although it is still in excellent condition.
