Description
If you're looking for a fully upgraded 9mm 2011 Staccato C2 made by (the former) STI Firearms, you can stop looking now! For those who are familiar with the realm of custom 2011 gunsmiths know of DSC, also known as Dave's Custom Gunsmith. The pistols Dave puts out are one-of-a-kind masterpieces, working primarily on the 1911 and 2011 formats.
DSC took an STI 2011 Staccato C2, which was a nice handgun to begin with, and made it just that much better. The first and most obvious upgrade is the traditional Woodlands M81 Cerakote camo pattern on the grip, frame, and the slide. The next most obvious upgrade is the custom stipple work on the grip to make it more comfortable while providing a high traction surface for your hands.
The other significant upgrade made to this C2 was DSC's signature 4-port island barrel that has been finished in bronze PVD along with slide window cuts. The ported island barrel significantly improves muzzle rise, allowing to you get back on target faster. Some of the other upgrades made to this pistol include a DSC Performance Trigger Job, upgraded internals, Taran Tactical magazine base pad, Trijicon RMR Type 2, and Surefire X300 Ultra weapon light.
If you want a top of the line 2011 pistol, it's going to be nearly impossible to beat this package, especially considering it's a legacy STI.
Here's a partial list of the work and upgrades DSC performed on this pistol:
- Island Barrel Porting
- Slide Window Cuts
- DSC Performance Trigger Job
